A handsome sexy beast of a cabinet

Like I promised. This china cabinet is my favourite makeover of this show yet.
Sexy. Handsome. Two toned. Modern and rustic vintage all in 1 pile!

the beauty was finished in my favourite black #generalfinishesmilkpaint in lamp black and coated in their satin poly top coat for durability.
it just gives a deep rich black.

very simple lines and curvy legs for style. i kept the original brass hardware to the piece.

i decided to leave the top ornametation wood to match and play off the interior. i stripped off the shine of original finish and then used #howardsfeednwax to give it back a healthy glow

i opened the door to show you the styling of course but also to show the amazing tone of the rich wood interior. i didn't want to paint this as it had such a nice colour. again i used the howards feed n wax to revive to wood and make it rich again.

this china cabinet had a weird green stain that was aging and peeling. it was actually a cool colour in some spots but was wearing poorly.

I love how this piece turned out and can see it in a country vibe decor but also with a modern decor with eiffel chairs. It has the right tone of wood to blend in with the teaks found in modern decor.

Have a fantastic hump day,

    1. hi teddee
i am always a little sad but it helps with my furniture hoarding to see them go so that i can continue helping more unloved furniture. it always makes me happy for people to buy a piece that they love i had a hand in. painting furniture is still a very new concept in my area with only about 3-4 people doing so there is a slow warming to appreciation
