A French Linen dresser

Happy Monday people!

Another before and after for you today. This piece was actually our dresser in the spare bedroom until I got the itch and changed it to my new old grey dresser

It thereby became a lovely spare and it required some work I had been putting off. It needed a new back and some glue but now is good as new or old, whatever.

This lovely lady looks handsome in french linen and some distressing. I added clear knobs to the smaller top drawer and milk glass knobs on the lower larger drawers.

Another one hits the stockpile
Have a fabulous day,

  1. So pretty, love the color and drawer pulls!
Hope you'll hop over and share at Amaze Me Monday!

  2. Gorgeous. I always love the way you do your vignettes, and the chest is stunning. I loved it with the natural stained finish too. Hugs, marty

  3. I love the color. How come you PARED DOWN on the vignette??????

    1. lol pinky. i didn't mean to, this arrangement just felt right for this one. thanks for continuing to visit and comment.

  4. You have been busy painting an antique like I have! Drop by to see what I did! But back to you.... I love the picture showing the drawer open as it highlights the detailing of the dovetailed drawer. I will always remember being told to check that first to see if a piece is truly old. And the color is just perfect.. along with the knobs. I know you have sweet dreams having that delightful dresser in your room!!

  5. Great job! I like it very much, very nice color!

  6. And here's the father of my little waterfall table! I think your waterfall tables have been busy. :)

Leave me a note. I'd love to hear from you.
Unless you're being less than friendly, then play like the rabbit and say nothing!
